Seed Selection

Red-breasted nuthatch through my window, caught in the act of selecting a seed. They seem to pick and choose which ones are good enough for them, tossing and flicking other types to the ground. We keep hearing the discarded ones tapping against the window.

Their stubby tails and almost non-existent neck make them look rather comical.
