A Day of Journeying

Sad that our stay in Cambridge has come to end, but at the same time, so much excitement to see my brothers on the other side of the country. This little hobbit enjoys a bit of journeying ...

Before we set off to pick up our rental car, Craig kindly drove us past the Greenwich Meridian marker.

The rental car is really nice and spacious, though the process of acquiring it was a convoluted series of repeatedly providing information, peppered with frequent diversions of "ah, you're living the life, yeah!"

Dale did a good job of driving on the left hand side of the road, navigating roundabouts, following GPS instructions, and changing gears manually, while I tried to enjoy the scenery as well as help pay attention to the navigational nuances and traffic.

And I love trucks!

Our first stop was to catch up with a university friend, whom we last saw 37 years ago! Oh, it was SO special xoxoxo

Our day ended at a most delightful destination - J&M's Spring Cottage, where we were greeted with welcoming balloons. Hello!
