I was fortunate to be out in the location where this beauty was blooming recently - it's a grass leaved arrowhead (Sagittaria graminea), a fantastic wetland plant. The leaves are ... long and grass-like!
What a pleasure it was to have found this in a secluded and not oft-traveled cove.
