It's a sunny 19°F in this wintery scene, and with the wind chill factored in, it feels like 8°F. The storm that dropped 6" of very heavy, sticky snow over everything was a short-lived overnight one, but it has persisted - I've not seen it last this long on the treetops.
All I can say is,
... thank goodness it's pretty! It's amazing and spectacular to look at
... and I have shelter and warmth from which to appreciate this,
... and enough leisure time in my life to stop and notice the beauty.
