We know about reading between the lines, but this is seeing between the lines (of our window blinds). Viewing numerous lines beyond the parallel, horizontal lines.
It's fascinating to watch how the ice directly against the roof melts first, and visibly trickles down underneath the top white layer, drawing my eye to the linear movement. Parallel diagonals.
