Audiobook Joke?

What? The Illustrated "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by Charlie Mackesy is available as an audiobook ... is this a joke? It's intended as a work of art, a visual storybook.

What next? The illustrated guide to Van Gogh's paintings? I love audiobooks (a new "thing" for me) but seriously, there are limitations to listening only!

I thought there were word in there.....are there no words? I was under the impression there was a story.

Yes, there's a story, which takes 58 minutes to read, but basically the pictures and story are a 'thing'together, not separable. Maybe it's a little like reading the captions underneath a picture without seeing the picture ...

Well, if the story doesn't make sense without the pictures.....but all I can think of is my brother who is blind and the audiobook is the only way he can read. Both he and my sister-in-law are big readers. So if she read it and loved it, she would want him to read it.....
