I saw two this year. Neither was near each other...sort of sad in the big fast woods, to stand all alone. When I was a kid I remember big swaths of them in our woods....oh well....grateful for the two I did see for I always keep my eyes peeled.
We've got quite a few in our yard, and the neighbors do too. I didn't think there were fewer this year.
