Leaf Larder


These leaves look particularly sad to me. 



The drooping leaves remind me of a predatory bird's larder! It's like what a butcher bird does to store food for later consumption - it impales its prey on thorns, or barbed wire, where they hang in place.

Yeah, very much so. Tobacco drying!
